Laurel Canyon Live: a dedicated team for a live streaming platform.
Since 2022, Paginar has partnered with Laurel Canyon Live through a dedicated managed team that continuously designs, develops and evolves a live-event streaming service available across multiple platforms.

Laurel Canyon Live needed to evolve its streaming service without expanding its internal structure. Since 2022, a Paginar managed team has combined design, development and quality assurance to support discovery, access and playback experiences for live events and on-demand content across multiple platforms.
Services
We organise and coordinate a dedicated team that works within the product’s day-to-day operation. We provide continuity, specialist knowledge and delivery capacity to support changing business priorities.
We organise a digital product’s information, navigation and flows so people can understand it and achieve their goals. We make tasks clear, straightforward and appropriate to their context of use.
We shape interfaces through hierarchy, typography, colour and components. We design screens and interaction states that reflect the brand’s identity, with attention to readability and accessibility.
We turn designs and user journeys into functional interfaces. We build components and applications for each environment, with attention to performance, accessibility and continuity between design and implementation.
We develop the services, APIs and logic behind digital products. We connect data and systems to support functionality and make the solution easier to evolve.
We assess product behaviour through functional tests and checks of key user journeys. We identify issues, compare results with requirements and support the validation of each delivery.
We support the operation and evolution of digital products. We resolve issues and make technical and functional adjustments to maintain service continuity.
Work process
Laurel Canyon Live (LCL) is a Los Angeles–based startup that brings live events and on-demand content to distributed audiences. For a service of this kind, the product does not end with its first release: it must maintain a reliable experience for playback, access and purchasing while evolving across every platform in parallel.
Since 2022, Paginar has worked alongside the LCL team through a dedicated managed team based in Latin America and aligned with Los Angeles time zone. The entire team works in English, enabling clear and fluid communication with the client. The partnership was built to support the product’s continuous evolution, bringing design, development and quality together in a shared delivery rhythm and giving LCL the capacity it needs without expanding its internal structure.
Our remit covers both the back end and the front-end applications. Integrated with the LCL team, we approach each evolution as a complete system: from the services that support the platform to the experiences through which people discover an event, access it and enjoy it. This allows LCL to stay focused on its business priorities while Paginar turns product needs into technical and design solutions.
LCL is available on iOS, Android, tvOS, visionOS, Roku and the web, among other platforms, and continues to expand steadily into new environments. That breadth makes every product decision a challenge in consistency: the same proposition must feel recognizable on a touchscreen, in a browser, on a television or in a spatial environment, while respecting the particularities of each context.
We do not see multiplatform delivery as simply adapting screens. We design and develop experiences that share a product logic while responding to different modes of navigation, playback and use. The goal is to make access to live events and on-demand content clear, seamless and consistent on every device.
This perspective also guides the technical evolution. Front-end applications and back-end services advance in coordination so that new capabilities can reach the relevant platforms with the quality and continuity a streaming service requires.
This evolution takes shape in connected discovery, access and playback experiences: audiences can explore live events, on-demand content and podcasts; sign in or activate a device; and use codes to access specific offerings. The platform is built on a multi-tenant architecture that can adapt each tenant’s identity, content and configuration while maintaining a shared technology foundation. LCL also has editorial capabilities to configure experiences and update the status of live events. Paginar turns these needs into coherent cross-platform solutions, from the interface to the services that authorize and protect playback.
Paginar’s team brings together developers, quality analysts, an interface designer and a UX designer. Being dedicated to LCL, it combines specialist focus with an accumulated understanding of the product and the client’s business. We work continuously with the client to turn product needs into features that are designed, developed, tested and ready to evolve.

The dedicated-team model retains product knowledge and technical context over time. The team can deepen its understanding of the platform, anticipate the implications of each change and maintain continuity across design, development and quality. Paginar manages the team’s composition, coordination and stability so that LCL receives a complete service and can focus its attention on business priorities.
At LCL, design and development move forward as one continuous workflow. Starting from the client’s needs, UX, interface design, front end, back end and quality work in coordination to understand the context, define the experience, propose the solution, implement it, validate it across the relevant platforms and learn from the next iteration.
The result
The result is a long-term collaboration that gives LCL a flexible and cost-efficient way to bring in the capacity it needs to evolve its streaming platform and remain competitive. Paginar provides a stable, multidisciplinary team that connects product, design, engineering and quality, with accumulated knowledge of the business and the ability to extend the experience to new platforms when the product requires it.

For Paginar, LCL demonstrates the value of a dedicated managed team when a digital product needs to grow over years. The value lies in both technical continuity and the team’s ability to interpret every LCL need, propose alternatives and deliver complete solutions. This enables the startup to focus on growing its business while the product evolves with the focus and quality it requires.
